Swan Clan

Hi all it has been a couple of weeks since I last blogged, we really haven't done much I have just been busy with the boys. Brayden has been
spending alot of his time learning his alphabet, he has motivation! Ashley told him that he gets to go to chuckecheese if he learns them,I guess what ever works as long as he is learning. He is doing really good so far he can do every sound of the letters but still has trouble recognizing them. Bryant has been very busy in his walker, he loves being able to get around any place he wants. He has found that he really enjoys eating, that is one of his favorite pass times. As you can see from the picture he still hasn't gotten

the neat thing, I think he gets more on his face than in his belly. Bray has been having some jealousy issues, its hard for him to understand that Bryant is a replacement for him. Here is a picture of the boys

watching cartoons.Ashley just had to wash his truck the other day it was still cold outside, but him and Brayden worked really hard cleaning it. Ashley and I had a adult night out which was very much needed, I Love being a stay at home mom, but sometimes you just need that adult time. Ashley's mom keep the boys for us to go out, I took a picture of the boys, and told Betty I had proof of how the boys looked and I expect them to be in the same condition when I pick them up of course I was only playing with her cause I never have to worry she always takes excellent care of them and tends to do more spoiling than anything. I didn't get any pictures of our night out, we had a good time we ate at a place in Hoover some Cajun place it was good, then on to Dave's. Bryant began eating prunes this month, and he seems to really like them.

This outfit I found in Bryant's closet, I had
forgotten about it until the
other day when I was
attempting to clean closets.
Ashley wore this outfit when he
was a baby I just thought it was
adorable. Of course I had to run
and get the camera so I could
a few memorable shots of him in
in it.Bryant has become very vocal lately...he will so mmmom, daa daa ,bah(I think he is saying bray, but who knows!) March 1 we had a great snow for Alabama it was so beautiful, it powdered the ground and in fact Brayden got to make two snowmen.

I woke him up to show him the snow and he was so excited he had to hurry and get dressed so he could go out and play in it, he knew he had to make a snow angel.

Ashley had to help Brayden get his gloves pulled up, they were a little big.

Our house covered in snow it was so pretty! I wish we got to see this more often!

Brayden loved eating the snow we had to watch him closely to make sure he was getting the white stuff and not any surprises!!

This was the snowman Brayden and Ashley made!!

Ashley made snow cream and Brayden absolutely love it, he keep sneaking back into the kitchen for more.
Bryant even got in on the snow eating but he wasn't real sure of it, he actually ended up spitting it out I don't think he was too much on the cold of course his was just fresh snow there was no sugar in there for him.

I Love this picture Brayden & Bryant had just gotten into a snow fight and you can kinda see the snow on the side of Ashley's face, he is such an amazing dad, he was on his fifth day of work and he just wanted to stay up and play with Brayden again I want to emphasize what a fantastic man he is..he never stops amazing me!! Brayden decided to make a snow angel.
I made this snow angel...look its huge;)

I am so sorry this blog is so long but I am trying to play catchup since the last time I blogged, hope you guys are enjoying all the pictures, I took a ton more but just tried to pull the most important ones from the snow day, cause it isn't a common thing for Alabama to have snow so we were all pretty excited about. It is Tuesday March 03 today its Bryant's 6 month birthday...under normal circumstance I would be so excited for this day, but no not today not at all because I have to take Bryant to the doctor of course I am excited about getting his weight and height, but today was different I had to get an ultrasound for Bryant, and I had been feeling so sad for him for the past few months, and today was no different just things were right in my face today I must face the pending truth. I checked in to the test scheduling area and sat there waiting for my number to be called, the whole time anguishing over things yet to come. I was called back and sat down in the nicest woman's chair while she talked to me about Bryant and everything that was going on, I just felt like God had sent this lady into my life just at the right time, I always say there is a reason why things happen and this day was no different, here I was concerned about my son's problem and not even thinking about how healthy he is. This woman began to tell me about her two sons, and daughter, then she went on to tell me about her grand kids, she was just what I needed at that point in time. The lady began to talk about her grandson who was born with only one eye, and I just wanted to cry for her, but she totally turned things around she made it such a positive spin that made me think no matter what I could do this I mean here is this two year old boy born with one eye and has seizures, and here is his grandmother and she couldn't be any prouder of him. I took Bryant back and he was such a big boy he lay on the table and giggled and played while the sonographer did the test, he didn't cry he didn't fuss he was amazing such a trooper of course there is no pain involved in an ultrasound, but I don't think most kids would have been as calm as him. After the ultrasound we went to see Dr. Bill for Bryant's regular checkup and to followup on his ears, and to talk about the ultrasound. Bryant weighed 17 pounds 10 ounces and was 27 1/8 inches long and his head was 17 7/8 inches he is 50Th percentile in his weight and 75Th percentile in his height. His ears checked out clear and he passed his hearing test which was wonderful news. As for the ultrasound Dr Bill is sending us to a pediatric surgeon at Children's hospital to see what our next steps are. I am so sorry for being kinda faque about all that is going on with Bryant just remember him in your prayers that is really all I can say I am putting my faith in God 100% . I just want anyone who reads this to thank God for every single thing that you are given. I know that we must face obstacles in life, but its much easier when it don't have to do with your kids. Okay I had to get that out there my heart is heavy and blogging seems to help me get it out there and I always feel a little better. Brayden stayed the night at maw maw's and he had alot of fun as usual she and aunt ammie spoiled him I got down there and he had about 4 new toys. He said I was a good boy, were is my surprise I told him I didn't have one he told me I had to go away and come back when I had one cause he was a good boy.
Brayden has to have his shades on when the sun is out...this kid is just too cool!!!
