Mothers Day

I hope that everyone had a wonderful Mothers Day!!!Ashley, and the boys bought me a new cordless phone, and some vegetable plants. Being a mom is such an amazing feeling, I am completly consumed with these two kids. Ashley & I planned our life together, and both of us really wanted to have a family just at the right time. We tried for several months, and we were told that there was no way possible for me to have a child, with out using medicine. I was heartbroken at first but figured that was just what I had to do. Needless to say I should have set back and waited on God's plan. The doctor started me on a medication but I was already pregnant, its just amazing to me how God always knows what is right for us at just the right time. I thank God for bringing Ashley into my life, and then blessing me with two healthy little boys. It's strange but Mothers Day makes me think of the women who are trying to have a child, and for some reason they are unable. I constantly pray that God bless those that want children, and those that have children. I think that too many times parents forget how fortunate you are to have a child.

WJ Community Day

For the past five years the community I live in has a fun filled day for all the children in the area and it is all free, they have bouncers, slides, and all kinds of snacks. I took the boys and Brayden seemed to have a really good time, Bryant got hot but he was wonderful he just hung out in his stroller for most of the time.

Brayden liked Lifesaver, but he wanted for them to fly him, other than that he was more interested in his red snow cone.

I hope you guys enjoyed all the pictures it was a really fun day,Brayden was very excited about the ladder truck,he was one like it at home.

Funtimes.....learning new things.

On April 30 I left the boys at Betty's so I could go to my first softball game, since I was in the 8th grade...wow do I need practice something horribly...I did awful of cours I got to sit on the bench for the first few innings, but got to play catcher and even got to bat twice...totally missing and striking out...so BAD>I really enjoyed the camaraderie of other adults,so I had a good time.
Sorry I have no pictures, I brought the camera but didn't take any hopefully with some serious practice I will play better next time.

On May 1 Hayley called and invited Me and the boys to go bowling we had a great time. We really had a pleasent visit with Adam,Nancy,Bradley, and Hayley. I took a couple of pictures this was Brayden's first bowling trip and he really loved. Some of the pictures blurred real bad*(sorry)

First bowl...all by himself

Look what an awesome shot!!!This was Brayden's first shot so I was so proud of him, he did have help from the bumpers but I was pretty impressed.

This is Braydley's ball and it has no fingerholes, and is very heavy so unc was helping him carry it,

Brayden&Bryant patiently waiting on the longest roll ever. Bryant wasn't very happy,he was ready to go home, and get in bed.He was more than happy to sit with Hayley and eat some corn puffs,Hayley was more than happy to assist him in eating them.

Adam holding Bryant, while he was wanting to eat the ball. Brayden decided he wanted to go to Unc's house and I let him, he was so excited Hayley came over to our house, which had been neglected the past few days so it was in no way ready for company but we had a good time I got Bryant to bed and her and I did my workout, that I had missed earlier that day for doing busy work. The next day Bryant got me up early and I got busy preparing breakfast, Pancakes requested by Hayley but she didn't get up until 10:30 after we got our showers we met Adam in Jasper for lunch at Chickfila. We ate lunch and then went to the traveling zoo at the Jasper mall it was free of charge, they had a lion, tiger, lemur, monkey, kangaroo, snake, goats, horses, lamas. I took pictures of the animals hope you guys enjoy them. I am so not a fan of snakes, but if you are then you could have gotten your picture made with this beauty....(NO THANKS)
These goats were so precious...fortunate for them there horns were small cause Brayden has a tendancy to want to hang on the ones at the zoo.
Brayden loves llamas....don't really know why, but he actually kissed this one (YUCK>>Those of you who know me well know I am a bit of a germ aphobe.)

The Kiss

There was actually a warning sign on the outside of the cage...Big Cat may spray...that is disgusting, I have never been that close to a tiger, so I had no idea they were like common male house cats, that is nasty. It was very pretty, but a little scary to imagine that cat wasn't really that far away from me, I would much rather just visit the big guy at the zoo behind all the glass.

Party

I can't believe the month of April is over we really had such a busy month....having two kids keeps me on my feet. Hayley had her 9th birthday party in Jasper at the skating rink this was the first year that Brayden decided to try to skate, He was not too big of a fan. Ashley worked at the Talledega races so me and the boys took a road trip to see memaw in Ashville, seems like a long way up there but we had a great visit, and of course I took a couple of picture.
Some of the Iris' that are at memaw's they are so pretty.
Time to go home
